Johny has nearly 30 years experience in Information Technology spending the last 12 years consulting exclusively on Data Migration assignments for the likes of Jaguar Land Rover, the Financial Times, British Telecommunications plc, and Barclays Bank. His book “Practical Data Migration” (now in its second edition) defines the leading Data Migration methodology – PDMv2.  Johny co-founded the specialist data migration consultancy, Iergo Ltd.  Johny is also the author of the popular “Johny’s Data Migration Blog” on the BCS website.

Jacqui has 25 years of implementing technology across the world. After implementing a banking regulatory change programme with Web 3.0 tools she co-founded Flying Binary. An appointment to the Cabinet Office as an Open Data domain expert recognised her as a web scientist of influence in the era of Big Data. Jacqui trains Advanced Analysts on the Science of Data Visualisation, is a regular speaker on Cloud Adoption, Big Data, Smarter Analytics and Profiting from the Web.

Alisdair has many years experience around the globe supporting the delivery of clinical care systems into hospitals and clinics in diverse cultural settings.  PDMv2 trained he is ideally placed to educate us on the necessary skills for migrating data where accuracy is mandatory.

Paul has many years experience in the pensions industry.  His current role is as a project manager for Capita Hartshead There he regularly migrates the records of bespoke pension schemes into Capita Hartshead’s pension platform.  Learn from him how they have turned what for most of us is a once in a business lifetime activity into a business as usual process.

Dylan Jones is the founder and editor of Data Migration Pro and Data Quality Pro, the popular online communities that provide a range of practical resources, expert advice, industry opinion and education to more than 8,000 members and visitors every month. Dylan has an extensive information management background and has consulted on numerous large scale data migration and data quality projects over the last two decades.

A proven expert at all things data, with an outstanding record and passion for delivering results on time and on budget, displaying an uncommon commercial technical ability with experience of on-premise solutions, with particular strengths in all major CRM platforms notably: salesforce.com, Microsoft SQL Server and Raisers Edge.  He has been instrumental in delivering migrations within many organisations adding understanding to complex multi-vendor, stakeholder and requirement issues yet still able to focus on the detail of how the team is engaged to ensure delivery to the client expectations.

With over three decades of IT experience and a data-rich portfolio of work behind him Charles has most certainly “been there and done that”.  Still working on the frontline of data centric projects and an accomplished speaker, Charles will bring wit and wisdom in equal measure to his presentation.
