Johny co-founded the specialist data migration consultancy, Iergo Ltd and is on the expert panel of Data Migration Pro.

Mel is currently working for the London Programme for IT as the IM Project Manager responsible for the Information Management in the “Acute” space. One key area of responsibility is Data Migration from Trusts’ legacy systems into new IT systems introduced as part of the National Programme for IT.

Dylan Jones is the founder and editor of Data Migration Pro and Data Quality Pro, the popular online communities that provide a range of practical resources, expert advice, industry opinion and education to more than 8,000 members and visitors every month. Dylan has an extensive information management background and has consulted on numerous large scale data migration and data quality projects over the last two decades.

Charles Blyth

Charles is a well respected figure in Data Quality, BI and MDM circles. He is responsible for the data management, data warehousing, business performance and customer analytics teams across CPP Group. Charles has many years of experience in delivering enterprise BI solutions and specializes in business intelligence and master data management (MDM) strategy deployment. Prior to CPP, Charles worked for a number of BI solution providers in senior consultancy roles across the globe.

Martin James

With 20 years of IT sales experience, as Talend’s first UK employee in January 2009 he set up the UK operation which will grow to 25 people in 2010. Before Talend, at DataSynapse he built a UK and Benelux sales operation. Prior to that he was at OpenPages where he was the first European employee establishing its UK, French and German offices. From 1998 to 2004 he was the EMEA sales director for Sonic Software.

Ian Murray


Ian Murray is a consultant and director of Aurora Business Consultancy Ltd. Aurora helps its financial services and banking clients with IT and software projects, particularly data migration, bringing an in-depth understanding of both business and technology. Ian was for many years the CEO of Synchronicity Ltd, which developed software packages for banks and brokers. He has thirty years experience of data migration.

Sean Green

Sean Green is of the new breed of hybrid business and technology consultants. His approach to Data Migration projects is seeking the business benefits first and using this to drive the project deliverables and decision making. As director of ICT at Vangent he led the team at Southwark Council responsible for their new CRM system and Master Data Management strategy. His other clients include Islington Council, Westminster City Council, Norfolk Council Vangent and Vertex.Sean holds Non Executive Director roles in the NHS, Education and Social Housing. Prior to working in the public sector Sean held senior roles at Aviva.

Bill Humphrey

Bill Humphrey, a PMI-certified Project Management Professional, has a depth of programming and technical experience and expertise in multiple programming languages/interfaces. He understands business cultures and practices worldwide. Humphrey leads Pervasive’s technical client-facing teams supporting customers’ integration projects. He oversees cloud-based and on-premises solution architectures and designing best practices for a range of integration scenarios. He holds an MBA in International Business and a BS in Computer Science and Mathematics

Philip Howard

Philip is Research Director at Bloor Research. He specialises in databases, data management, data integration, data migration, data quality, data federation, master data management, data governance, metadata management and data warehousing.In other words: anything to do with the infrastructure of data. Philip was the first analyst in this country to recognise the significance of Data Migration as a domain in its own right and has been leading the analysis field in his understanding ever since.
